The agreement

Placing an order on smolderstone.com is an agreement between you and Smolderstone under these terms. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that the shipping details you give us are accurate, and that you have read the safety information for anything that burns. All prices are in USD.

What we sell, and what we claim

Our products — stones, crystals, botanicals, resins, and the tools that hold them — are sold as natural goods and aesthetic objects. We make no health, healing, or medical claims about any of them, and nothing we sell diagnoses, treats, or cures anything. Where we mention tradition, we are reporting what tradition says, not promising an outcome. Natural products vary: stone sizes, colors, and patterns differ piece to piece, and we state dimensions so you know the range before you buy.

Things that burn

Sage, palo santo, sweetgrass, resins, and anything else designed to smolder are open flame products. By purchasing them you accept the risks that come with fire and agree to use them responsibly: never leave them burning unattended, burn only in or over a heat-safe vessel on a stable surface, keep them away from children, pets, and anything flammable, ventilate the room, and extinguish them completely when you are done. You assume responsibility for safe use; we are not liable for damage or injury caused by misuse of burnable goods.

Our guarantee

Made to be handled, made to last — that's the promise. If a piece arrives damaged or isn't as described, tell us within 14 days and we'll make it right — a replacement or a full refund, no return shipping. No forms, no fine print.

Warranties and liability

Beyond the guarantee above, our products are provided as-is, and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied — including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose — to the fullest extent the law allows. Our total liability for any claim arising from an order is capped at the amount you paid for that order. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA. If something goes wrong, talk to us first — support@smolderstone.com — and we will make a genuine effort to resolve it directly. Any dispute we cannot resolve together will be settled by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either of us may use small-claims court for claims that qualify. Both of us waive any right to bring claims as part of a class action.

Changes

If we change these terms, we change the effective date at the top. The version you agreed to at checkout is the version that applies to that order.
